Why without a referral?

Not everyone has symptoms. But anyone who wants to follow their health proactively shouldn't need to go through the GP for it, and people who do have symptoms can often get a broader picture from a private test than from a typical referral.

How does this work legally?

Private blood testing is fully legal. Optimize works with certified labs and draw locations; the results are medically valid and based on the same standards as hospital laboratories.

You pay directly, no claim goes to your insurer, and it does not count towards your deductible.
