Which blood values are measured?

The Baseline measures 40+ biomarkers across immune system, oxygen transport, organs, hormones and nutrients. You can extend it with add-ons and deep-dive panels for specific questions.

Yes. Upload your existing results in the app and our analysis turns them into a dashboard, blueprint and biological age — no new blood draw needed.

Where can I get my blood drawn?

At 238+ certified draw locations across the central Netherlands. Pick a location and time near you in the app. We're expanding to more of the country throughout 2026.

Do I need to fast before the blood test?

For some values, such as blood sugar and cholesterol, fasting is advised. The app tells you exactly how to prepare for your appointment.

How long does a blood draw take?

The draw is done by our medical partner and usually takes 2–5 minutes. Nervous about needles or fainted before? Let the team know — they'll take the time you need.

When do I get my results?

Usually within 24 hours of your appointment. As soon as your results are available in the app, you'll get an email notification.

Yes. Every biomarker is translated into plain language: what it is, what it means for your body and what you can do about it — with concrete next steps.

What happens if I cancel an appointment?

Cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment and we fully refund your payment in Optimize credits. Cancel within 24 hours and we refund the remaining amount, minus 1 credit. Use these credits for any future test.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

For a no-show we refund the remaining amount in Optimize credits, minus 2 credits to cover the reserved timeslot. You can use these credits for any future test.

What are Optimize credits?

Credits are our loyalty programme. Buy a credit bundle and you get a better price per credit — a discount on your blood tests. A simple way to save more when you test more.

How much does a blood test cost?

The Optimize app is free. You only pay for the blood test itself — from €99 for the essentials up to €399 for the full panel, depending on the panel you choose.

Is it reimbursed by my health insurance?

Accepted Answer

Private, preventive blood testing is generally not reimbursed by basic Dutch health insurance; you pay for it yourself. Some supplementary policies reimburse part of it — check your policy.

Is my data safe?

Your data is encrypted, stored in the EU under GDPR, and never sold. You can export or delete it any time, and you decide who to share it with.
