What is a comprehensive blood test?

A comprehensive blood test measures a broad set of blood values in one go: from cholesterol and blood sugar to hormones, vitamins, inflammation markers and liver and kidney function. Together they paint an accurate picture of where your body stands today.

Optimize measures more than 50 biomarkers and translates every value into plain language: what is fine, what needs attention and what you can do about it. A blood test stops being a list of unreadable numbers and becomes a starting point for focused choices.

Which blood values are checked?

Panels range from a baseline measurement to a comprehensive work-up. These are the areas we map:

Immune system
White blood cells (lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes) and CRP for inflammation.
Oxygen transport
Hemoglobin, hematocrit, red blood cells, MCV and iron status via ferritin.
Organs
Liver (ALT, AST, GGT), kidneys (creatinine, eGFR), heart (cholesterol, ApoB) and blood sugar (glucose, HbA1c).
Hormones
Thyroid function via TSH and free T4.
Nutrients
Vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium.
