Where can you get a blood test in Leiden?
In every district of the city. Close to the centre you draw at the De Singel health centre on the Lusthoflaan and at the Poortgebouw on the Rijnsburgerweg; in the Leidse Hout on the Dieperpoellaan; at the lab's main location on the Rooseveltstraat and at the Alrijne hospital on the Houtlaan; in the Merenwijk on the Rosmolen and in the Stevenshof on the Theda Mansholtstraat. Live in Oegstgeest, Leiderdorp or Katwijk?
Then you need not go into town. Oegstgeest has four addresses of its own with Actea, the Poelgeest practice, MC Oegstgeest and Rhijngeest, Leiderdorp the Florijn and the Alrijne hospital on the Simon Smitweg. Towards the coast Valkenburg, Rijnsburg and Katwijk take over, towards the bulb region Warmond, Voorhout and Sassenheim, and Voorschoten and Hazerswoude-Rijndijk each have a draw point too. How do you get there and how long does it take?
From Leiden Centraal it is a five-minute walk to the Poortgebouw and ten minutes by bike to the Lusthoflaan or the Rooseveltstraat; the Alrijne on the Houtlaan has its own car park, at the health centres you park in the neighbourhood. You book a time slot in the app, so you do not wait, and the draw itself takes a few minutes. At Winkelhof you can also walk in without an appointment: you pick a one-hour arrival window in the app and confirm you are coming. Come fasted: no food for 8 to 12 hours, water is fine, so preferably book an early morning slot.
