Where can you get a blood test in Amsterdam?
In almost every district. In the centre you draw at the Westertoren GP practice on the Keizersgracht and at MC Rozengracht on the Marnixstraat; in Zuid at MC Roelof Hart and at the Sport Medisch Centrum on the Olympiaplein; in Oost at Medisch Centrum Oost on the Tweede Oosterparkstraat and on Zeeburgereiland; in West on the Gentiaanplein and the Fannius Scholtenstraat; in Noord at Het Baken. Atalmedial handles the draws, the lab Amsterdam GPs send their blood to every day, so you draw at the same addresses as always, only now on your own initiative.
Live in Diemen, Duivendrecht or Buitenveldert?
Then you stay in your own neighbourhood. Medisch Centrum Gelderlandplein covers Buitenveldert, the GP post on In de Pelmolen covers Duivendrecht, and in Diemen you draw at De Schakel or the Diemen Zuid health centre. On the west side there are the Jan Tooropstraat and the clinic in the Slotervaart, and Amstelveen adds two more addresses just over the municipal border with Randwijck and Zonnestein. How do you get there and how long does it take?
Cycling is almost always fastest in Amsterdam: from Centraal you reach the Westertoren in about five minutes and the Rozengracht in ten. By car the Olympiaplein and the Gelderlandplein are easiest, with parking at the door. You book a time slot in the app, so you do not wait, and the draw itself takes a few minutes. At 4 locations, including HP Westertoren, Mauve and Apotheek Confuciusplein, you can also walk in without an appointment: you pick a one-hour arrival window in the app and confirm you are coming. Come fasted: only water from midnight, so preferably book an early morning slot.
