Optimize
Rooted in science

Science you can follow.

A good blood test stands or falls on two things: which markers you measure, and how the result is interpreted. At Optimize the test is curated by physicians on clinical relevance, and every value comes with the context needed to act on it. Scientifically grounded, clearly presented.

Our principles

What sets the approach apart.

A test built on clinical relevance.

Our physicians vetted every marker in the Baseline against a single criterion: does this value yield a clinically interpretable result? Trending markers without validated clinical merit don't make the cut — however well they read in marketing.

Clinical interpretation, accessibly written.

A table of values and arrows doesn't tell you what's happening. For every marker we describe the physiological context, the interpretation of your value, and the relevant next step — without leaving medical terminology untranslated.

Blood in context, not in isolation.

A single blood measurement is a snapshot. Combined with wearable data — HRV, sleep, recovery — the pattern that actually matters comes into view. A low HRV alongside elevated cortisol reads fundamentally differently than either signal alone.

Dutch, ISO-certified laboratories.

Your blood is processed by accredited Dutch laboratories — the same diagnostic standard your GP works with. No samples crossing borders, no opaque measurement methods, results both you and your treating physician can rely on.

Clinical guidance

Backed by clinical experience.

Two physicians advise Optimize on two fronts: the composition of the test and the criteria of our triage system. Results that stand out land directly with them for review — a clinical foundation underneath an automated process.

Our duty of care

We watch the things that actually matter.

Every blood result is screened by an automated triage system that flags values worth a second look. Anything it flags lands directly with our physician for review. If there's genuinely something going on, we reach out — no needless alarm, but a clear signal when it matters.

From measurement to insight.

01 Measure
The right markers
The Baseline is curated by our physicians and covers the domains that matter clinically — cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, immune, haematological, nutritional.
02 Interpret
Clinical interpretation, clearly presented
For every marker we describe the physiological context, the interpretation of your value, and the relevant next step. The medical substance stays accurate; the presentation stays accessible.
03 Combine
Context from wearables
Wearable data — HRV, sleep, recovery — provide a continuous trend line alongside your blood values. A low HRV with elevated cortisol points to chronic stress load; neither signal carries that conclusion in isolation.
04 Iterate
Re-test and refine
Blood values shift under the influence of lifestyle, age and intervention. Re-testing at set intervals makes that effect visible — and keeps the interpretation current.
Our frame

You can't read a factory from one cog.

Underneath the markers and the methodology sits a simple view of the body: a factory of production lines that compensate (and overcompensate) under load. That's why we read 40+ markers together, not in isolation — a production line involves multiple machines, and each machine multiple sensors.
